This is the full course described in the
There are 2 additional sessions to explore fatigue self- management as the NHS course described in the book is for those who have already done this.
*You may live with ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, long covid or other neurological conditions.
*This fatigue is often fluctuating and comes with a myriad of symptoms including brainfog, pain, digestive problems as well as weakness and low stamina.
*You may have been told there are no further medical optiions and you need to live with it.
.
*you may find rest at best difficult and at worse, extremely uncomfortable
*You may have tried mindfulness before but feel the need to adapt your practice.
*You may be struggling with the whole thing and do not know where to begin.
There is increasing evidence that:
-mindfulness can support both the physical and psychological aspects of living with fatigue
-self managment can be enhanced by a bespoke mindfulness based approach.
You are very welcome to come if you have done mindfulness before or are new to it.
A key component of the approach is coming as you are and finding what works for you.
There is always choice on how to practice and it is not possible to do it the wrong way, you will always be invited to make your self comfortable and in some instances, gently snoozing through the practice is absolutely the right thing to do.
The movement component is an opportunity to inquire into how our body moves, if this feels right for you. We are not following a set of "exercises" and there are no "yoga poses".
You will be invited to notice your own body, go at your own pace and explore what your body needs.
The course is brain fog friendly and backed up by graded materials
You will have individual support throughout.
see website for some quotes from people who have done the course (I need add some more!)
